Every organization is slightly different, but there are some common denominators for each vertical sector. Our practice consists of three main business areas: management consulting in business modeling, tactical execution of business models, as well as delivering and consulting business solutions to enterprises. Each of these business areas has unique business requirements which are implemented as part of our internal solutions. We practice what we preach, as we conclude this is the best way to be and become successful.
Setting Objectives for the Solution
The task of selecting a business solution is strategic to any organization. The Cloud has changed how solutions are deployed and there are new requirements detailing software consumption. Any trending solution should be enabled to be assessable by any device at anytime and anywhere. Old traditional solutions do not support this, and our role is to help organizations to identify new generation solutions and how they can be implemented to run the business.
Tasks in Software Selection
Selecting software solutions which maps the requirements can be a tedious process. There are many phases in the selection process which complies with industry best practices. Following tasks/steps are typical in a selection process:
- Establish the requirements for the solution
- Analyze the available solutions in the marketplace
- Define budgets and project milestones
- Shortlist potential vendors to be introduced as potential vendors
- Arrange solution demonstrations
- Etc.
